Any famous sons on the way? Maybe I am just bored, but I was wondering if you guys know of any sons of famous players that might one day be wearing crimson? I know about the following:
1. The Castille's has a younger son who is an excellent athelete at
Briarwood.
2. Joey Jones' has a son that is now a recruit.
3. I couldn't help but notice Cornelius Bennett had a son with him when
they honored him during the fall.
4. Thomas Reyham (sp.) has two sons.

I do realize it doesn't mean they will be as good as their fathers and I know it doesn't mean they will necessarily choose Alabama, but there is a chance. Bloodlines are fun to watch (if you look in the NFL you will see what I mean).

No doubt about it, BAMA players are the studliest. What other program even compares? Certainly not the barn, it's rare to see a son of a former player playing for them.

What grade is Van's son in? What about Bobby Humphrey? I know Jay Barker has three sons, but they are all young. It would be nice to see several of those sons keep the tradition going. Does anyone know anything about Richard Todd? Even if he had sons, they might be too old to play for now.

Van's Son

Leigh Tiffin is a SR at Muscle Shoals High School. From what I hear he has a heck of a leg...He will be a walk on at Alabama probably.

Richard Todd has a son, Gator, who plays on the U of A golf team.

Cherokee County fullback Hershel Houston, a 6-foot, 225-pounder who is the nephew of former Alabama fullback Martin Houston, has rambled for 1,834 yards and 25 scores.

Martin's nephew Hershel, a junior this year, wears #35 just like his uncle did at Alabama.
Martin attended Cherokee County's 3A championship game against Pike County. Martin played for Cherokee County as a freshman in 1984, going to the championship game.

I heard David Palmer has kids in high school. (man I am old) That was according to the Bham news high school guy (drawing a blank on his name) I think he is a soph this season.

JP Wilson has a Brother that is a QB at Hoover , he will be a senior in '06

David Palmer has several kids, one of which is a terrific sophomore running back. He can do it all! He plays defensive back, returns punts, returns kicks (some for touchdowns), and is a scat back with some power. If he continues to progress, you will definitely hear his name across the state.

John Parker's brother looks to be a strong candidate, except for his height. I think I read I read where he was only 5'10"-5'11." If he has another growth spurt, I think he could be a good prospect. Like Spurrier, Propst has an offense that not only works, it makes the quarterback look great (if he has talent).
