He blew his knee out, ACL and MCL. Can't get much worse, but the surgery is routine these days. He's back riding the stat bike already.
It seems Dont'a will be back and ready to go in the spring. They showed him walking around during the South Carolina game telecast, and he showed no signs of limping or the like.

I heard Bowman was out for year with ligament damaged wish him well he's a stud. Really hate to lose him.:frown:
What? An article on Al.com says otherwise. Bowman just had a knee sprain and was back at practice.

Cornerback Javier Arenas (ribs) "has taken all the reps and done all the work this week," said Saban, who also said Dre Kirkpatrick (back spasm), Josh Chapman (abdominal strain) and receiver Mike Bowman (knee sprain) have all practiced normally.

When Square & Hightower are fully recovered, whenever that may be, will they have the same speed and quickness as before the injuries?

I heard during the Ole Miss game, the announcers were saying Hightower was on the bike then. They said he wasn't peddling he was just using his arms.

Well, I'm surely no doc, but I would think all people heal differently from the surgeries. While I would imagine the rehab programs and physical therapy are as good as it gets, some still take a little longer than others to get back. And I would guess that while some are as good as before, some may lose a step in speed. But we've seen many, many athletes in different sports have their knees blown and come back to have ultra productive careers.

By the way folks, thanks for the info!!! :BigA:
