Anyone Bought the Commemorative SI "Bama" Issue?

I saw it in the local walmart today...while i was waiting in line to get checked out, i thumbed through it, and was actually surprised at the in depth look at our championship history along with all of the pictures. At 6.99, I thought it was kind of steep, but I think i will shell out the money tomorrow and buy this piece of memorabilia. Any of yall already have it?

Yeah I got my copy at the bookstore on campus. I was pretty impressed with the work they seem to put into it. I'm keeping it.

I've got it. It's a good read. It will go in a box with all my other collectible Alabama magazines.

I've bought it and read pretty much all of it, it's a great read and it was steep but it was worth it, and it will be going into my collection of all things Alabama. Also what was really cool about it was when they go through all the championships the articles are reprints from the month right after Alabama won their championships, AND they do have a very quick write up and over view of Alabama's traditions and establishment of football it reads more like a small book than it does a magazine.

I got mine. They did not have it here in Jonesboro, AR, but I contacted a friend in Tuscaloosa to buy it for me. So I'll read it as soon as I arrive for the game next weekend.

Got mine today at Wal-Mart, which seemed to have thousands of them (literally). There was at least four different stands with dozens and dozens of the mags. Haven't had the chance to read it yet though.

Two of those stands were reserved for the issue on Auburn's Championship History, but unfortunately there has been a publishing glitch of some sort

I just got my issue. They really did a good job. It's a little expensive, but well worth it for any Bama fan.

I plan on putting it on the coffee table whenever any of my aubarn friends (yes, unfortunately I have some) stop by the house.

Mine showed up about half an hour ago! My friend-girl stole it from her son. No I don't care, No I'm not giving it back. [caught him watching a Tenn. game a couple of years back].
