Question: Anyone had LASIK surgery?

I'm going in Friday to have it done and was wondering if others have had it too?

I've had quite a few friends and family have it and none have had any really big problems other than an occasional "touch up" surgery. Part of me is nervous but a bigger part of me is really excited. I've had glasses since second grade so it's been a while since I've been able to see clearly.

My husband had it almost three years ago and has been exceedingly happy with his results. Unfortunately, I'm not a candidate or I would've gone "under the laser" long ago.

Good luck to you. I finally got up the nerve to go, last year, and was told I wasn't a candidate. So, they tried me in contacts, took the Doc and 2 assistants to get them back out. I admit it I'm a wimp when it comes to my eyes. So, I guess I'm stuck with the glasses. Hope all goes well. RTR
