you don't have to answer me, but I think you are referring to his father who can not leave the state of South Carolina.
A lot of us know the situation and I would appreciate it if that is not discussed any further in this thread.
Please and thanks.

again, wake me up when NSD is over. I have never seen so much BS and drama in recruiting than this past year.
Calloway, Region, Pagan, Roberson, etc etc etc.
Then this must be the first time you've ever followed recruiting really hard. This is the exact same stuff that happens every year. We all (myself included) have really short term memories when it comes to this stuff.
Nothing major happened until the All-Star games... Since then, chaos has been the theme for this recruiting season.Actually, I can't remember a year like this one. I remember years where a kid committed to one school, signs with another on NSD, but never the late commits, decommits recommits, uncommit etc. this has been unreal.

Add Pat Peterson to that Ole Miss class.Who could forget Bobbie Massie? He told the coaching staff he was headed to T-Town the night before NSD. When his press conference came, he threw an Alabama hat on the ground before annoucning "Hotty Toddy."
Add Pat Peterson to that Ole Miss class.
It's just short term memory.
Recardo Wright committed to West Virginia early on, then with a couple of weeks left, commits to us before finally signing with FSU on signing day. (Similar to what Pagan has done with his recruitment.)
Who can forget the Bryce Brown fiasco a few years ago, or even the Keenan Allen fiasco last year.
Look at Seantrel Henderson last year. Signed with USC (because supposedly his dad was promised a rap gig with Snoop Dogg?) only to have his LOI voided after signing day and head to Miami.
Reuben Randall in 2009. His recruitment was pretty bizarre. He committed to LSU early on and right up until signing day no one was sure where he was headed. We all legitimately thought we had a chance at him. Thought he would be the perfect compliment to Julio.
Even our own Trent Richardson. He committed before his Sr season ever began. He was almost an afterthought before he exploded for 450+ yards in a single game early on in his Sr. season. His stock jumped to a 5-star and the #2 RB in the country (somehow behind the aforementioned Bryce Brown.) Even though he was committed to us until signing day, he had another "announcement" on NSD which had many an Alabama fan up the night before with heartburn.
Janzen Jackson was committed to LSU all along and decided not to sign on NSD. He eventually signed with UT several days later.
Terrelle Pryor decided to delay his announcement beyond NSD. The clock kept ticking and no one was sure when he'd announce. Finally on MARCH 19th, a full 6 weeks after NSD, he decided to play for the Buckeyes, much to the chagrin of an incoming RichRod at Michigan. TP would have been the perfect fit for his offense.
We basically had Greg Reid in the bag before his Grandmother convinced him to stay closer to home. He even told the coaching staff he was headed to T-Town.

And these are all just off the top of my head. I'm sure if I did more research, I could come up with PLENTY of other examples. I'm telling you, this kind of stuff is nothing new.
Great, Like I said, there have been years this has happened, but not this many late commits, decommits uncommits, school enters the race with just a couple of weeks left, etc. you have a nice list and if they all happened in one year, it would be like this year, but they didn't.
Just can't admit you're wrong can you?
Like I said, these are all off the top of my head and they're all within the last 2-3 years and they all involve Alabama prospects. If I looked even a little bit harder I'm sure I could find more examples.
I think it's true, it's evolving to be more and more crazy with decommits. I think it is because of the early committments. Earlier and earlier. A high profile player commits to a program like Alabama and they then have a target on their backs.
From the 2010 class only . . .
Trovon Reed was an LSU lock before switching a few months before NSD.
Craig Sanders was an Alabama commit before switching to AU
Michael Dyer was considered an Arkansas lock before his Sr. season began before finally committing to AU a few months before NSD.
Dominique Easley a PSU fan by birth, decommitted from PSU and committed to UF a month before signing day.
I'm tired of writing, I'll just show you the link.
This is last years class according to ESPN.
12 of the top 30 in the ESPNU 150 (40%)decommitted from a school and committed to another before signing day.
I'm telling you, this is nothing new.
Redstar,
I have followed Bama recruiting very hard for the last 10 years or so, I even have a BOL account. for the record, Michael Dyer was NEVER an Arkansas lock. Petrino did not pursued him very hard and refused to play that "game" unlike auburn did. Dyer was never going anywhere but the barn. I realize recruiting is fluid, but the amount IMHO this year is crazy in spite what you think.
