Hopefully this isn't coming across as sour grapes but I think USCe's best shot at "being somebody" under Spurrier was last season. A lot of things went their way and they still managed to blow it. If Clowney wants to realistically have a shot of winning a NC he better roll with the Tide. If not then sign with "lame a*South Carolina." LOL!!!

Not sour grapes at all. I felt the same way. They missed a huge golden opportunity last year. I don't see them making it back anytime soon. As for Clowney, I wish him well. He's talented enough to do well anywhere he goes, and I understand if being close to home is a deciding factor. There's no shame in that.

But I'll say this. GOOD LAWD if he does sit up there in about five minutes and say "I'm Rolling with the Tide" and puts on a Bama hat!!!!
