At least 15 people killed in antisemitic terror attack at Sydney's Bondi Beach, 12-13-25

Two gunmen opened fire during a Hanukkah celebration on Sydney's Bondi beach, killing 15 people, including a child, officials said Monday, in what Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called an act of antisemitic terrorism that struck at the heart of the nation.

The shooters were Sajid Akram 50, and his son Naveed Akram 24.

Akram Snr was a legal, licenced firearms owner with six registered weapons.

The man in the white shirt/blue pants who disarmed Sajid Akram is Ahmed al Ahmed, 43. He owns a fruit and veg shop.

At least 42 others were injured in the attack ranging in age from 10 to 87.

Remarkable video. Sounds like the hero who disarmed one of the shooters was later shot himself. I wonder if it was the shooter he let get away - that later shot him (?)

Australia is also an island unto itself. Nobody is going to run guns from Mexico to the US, and I'm not saying this as a racist thing, either.

We had a mass shooting in Rhode Island, a state with strict gun control laws (rated A minus by the Giffords Gun Control Group) on a campus that is a "gun free zone."

And what's the excuse when this gun control fails? To blame another state for it.

Well, even though all but one state in the northeast has strict gun control laws, guess which state has already been blamed for it? "Well, he got the gun in New Hampshire" has been out there despite the fact last I checked we don't even have the gun. (But remember - only Trump voters "reason" like this). Chicago has shootings every hour, and they want to blame Indiana for all of them.

And this guy used a handgun, too, the one weapon the gun control nuts will always say is okay "for self-defense," oblivious to the fact 78% of "mass shootings" are with HANDGUNS (which means the focus on the AR-15 is quite misplaced to put it mildly).

And no, you can't use the "well, if that guy had an AR, it would have been worse," either. The Va Tech shooter still holds the highest kill count in a school shooting in American history and used a 9mm and a P22.

WOW: Vanessa Miller, a survivor of the Bondi attack, became separated from her three-year-old daughter amid the gunfire. In an interview with @Erin_Molan, she described attempting to seize a firearm from a critically wounded police officer in order to return fire against the attackers, only to be restrained by other officers who opted not to engage.

“Those police officers were cowering behind a vehicle... I reached for one of their weapons, but another officer grabbed me and told me 'no.' I hope they're listening to this. You're cowards. You could have prevented so many more deaths. They just stood there watching it unfold, while holding me back.”
