Rivals.com is reporting that Greg Reid, a former Florida commit, is visiting this coming weekend. He's listed as an athlete. Does anyone have any information on him?
He's all over the field .Does anyone have any information on him?
Against Tift County, Reid, a two-way starter for Lowndes High, returned a fumble 102 yards from one end zone to another. Later in the game, he scored on a 99-yard run from his halfback position.
He also is the first player to be named first-team all-state for a third consecutive time in the highest classification since Ed Guthrie of Wheeler in 1975.
This season, he rushed for 1,242 yards and scored 16 touchdowns on 118 carries, an average of 10.5 yards per rush. He caught eight passes for 234 yards and returned 14 punts for 267 yards.
Reid’s nine interceptions led Region 1-AAAAA.
But despite Reid’s cover skills, Tomberlin believes he’s another Percy Harvin, Florida’s runner/receiver.
The consensus on other boards is if he doesn't end up back at UF, he'll be at UGA. But, he's visiting, so...RTO,
What are our chances or did he decommit with someone else in mind?
It looks like he will end up at UGA or UF right now but with him visiting Bama he may just like what he sees. I am also hearing there may be some qualifying issues. The consensus on other boards is if he doesn't end up back at UF, he'll be at UGA. But, he's visiting, so...
I've heard this as well. In fact, the person said he'd be surprised if he was at any D1 school next year.I am also hearing there may be some qualifying issues.
Looks like he could be a heck of a slot receiver and Javy's heir as PR. Would LOVE to get him.
That is correct he is listed as an ATH but Bama is recruiting him as a DB.I think he's being recruited as a DB. Luginbill said that he's this year's version of Jenkins (the freshman CB for Florida).
• Under Armour All-American Game standout Greg Reid (Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes) is taking an official visit to Alabama this coming weekend. The Crimson Tide is looking to add at least one more speedy defensive back and Reid certainly fits the bill. All signs continue to point to Reid signing with Georgia as long as his academic situation allows.
From what im looking at on Rivals it still shows him as a visitor for this weekend.according to Rivals, he cancelled
