Now why would Ray Drew make it a point to be at the commitment announcement for Jay Rome and MM? Not sure what to make of that.

They'll need back-up if they commit to Alabama.:biggrin2:

I agree. It makes me think one is a GA commit at least or both. If one, it is Rome. I would anticipate we get MM and like TiderJ said....maybe someone will come along and provide some moral support for MM.

I believe Rome and Drew end up at GA and we get MM. Rome was the leader of the Dream Team recruiting others to GA and by Drew being there it makes me tend to believe they are both Bulldogs.

Not a whole lot was said. He enjoyed his visit, says that we're tied w/ UGA, he'll announce on Thursday, and his parents got alot of questions answered. Regardless, we should feel fairly confident that we land Mitchell. JMO.

School: Valdosta (Ga.) Buzz: Ranked as a four-star safety, Mitchell played receiver at the Under Armour Game and was consistently good at that spot throughout the week. Facing a group of elite defensive backs in practice, Mitchell's speed and solid route running allowed him to get nice separation at times in one-on-one drills. And he caught just about every pass thrown his way during the week, including a terrific game when the TV cameras were rolling.
