Sad to because this team would beat Tejas by 3 TDs
You get one swing of the bat.
Bama missed badly against Tejas.
Win out and this Bama team may get into the playoffs.

Also, Bama seems to have a guardian angel when it comes to "Bama needs X to lose to get into the playoff." Ole Miss had to lose one year. 4th and 25 happened. Another year, we needed WV to beat Pitt (or vice versa) and that happened too.
Bama just needs to win out and see what turns up.

Personally I don’t think Michigan should have a chance if it loses to tOSU. They have a pathetic schedule. No way it would hold up to a one loss Bama. After the egg they laid last year losing to TCU they have no margin. Oregon and Washington are the ones that can gum up the works for Bama imo. Florida St. has the easiest road and I could still see them getting clipped. It almost has always worked out correctly but I do wish they had started the 12 team format this year.

I am curious why Oregon is ahead of Alabama and Texas. Their resumes just aren't the same. Oregon has only beaten one team with a winning record.
It's a fair question, and it boils down to beating the pants off Colorado when the nation thought they might actually be good, which they weren't, and then beating the pants off Utah, who actually is a decent but not great team. Plus they lost a tight game to Washington. In summary, they won a couple of games decisively at the right time and lost a really close game to a good team.

The problem I see is how do we jump them in the committee's eyes. If we win out and Oregon wins out, how do we jump them. Oregon has USC, AZ St. and Oregon St left and presumably Washington in the Pac 12 CCG. That's 3 games they are very capable of losing, but if they win them all then it would be impressive in the committee's eyes. If we win out, and presumably beat an undefeated UGA, then does that do enough to put us over them? I don't know considering there is a Texas team we lost to between us and them. Maybe USC gets the boost like Arkansas did from firing a coordinator and finds a way to beat them this weekend.

FSU is at least undefeated and won their big game.
The problem is it's big game singular.

Alabama had 4 big games. This issue is going to become an even bigger one after the new additions. I posted this elsewhere but last week's playoff rankings, 11 of the top 12 teams are going to be in either the Big 10 or the SEC. The committee is going to have to figure this SoS thing out or they are going to just automatically place untested ACC and Big 12 teams in over much more deserving teams in the Big 10 and SEC who played absolutely brutal schedules.
