I never did find the hat. I gave up looking after bring exiled by Tidefans around the world.

I miss the old logo.

I have found hats with the old logo on ebay. I am partial to the old logo too.

I liked the old logo as well and am not too partial towards the new logo with the elephant. I do really like the new logo with the script A in the circle. That logo looks great at mid-field. As much as I like the old logo, it would look silly at mid-field.

Agreed, I think the newer logo looks cartoonish. I really like the script A, and that hat looks pretty good too, with the circle logo. I think my favorite is the solid crimson fitted hat with the white script A on it.

I'm not positive, but I am 99.9% sure the U has dropped the elephant logo as an official logo and going either with the solo Script A or the Script A in the Circle as the two approved logos for apparel and merchandise going forward.

So you may see some "Angy Elephant" items out there but as they move to get re-licensed those will leave the market.

I would like any explanation anyone can offer why we abandoned the elephant stepping through the A.

As for the hats, anyone still have a '92 Bama champions hat?
