Bama Players Transferring (catch all thread)

They did actually beat Georgia this year. That is somewhat turning the corner. For instance Tennessee and Texas couldn’t do it.
So what? They fall short year in and year out. Unless their ultimate goal is beating Georgia.

He’s the ONLY reason we got Ryan Williams back. This isn’t good.
It’s well documented Mbakwe was critical in bringing Ryan Williams back after he decommitted. This isn’t news.
I understand and know that he was a contributing factor, but you stated that he was the ONLY reason he came to Bama. I don't agree with that.

How are we ever going to build a winning team when our young players action themselves off after one season.
Well, this doesn't just influence Alabama but chaos has been deliberately introduced. There are a lot of people that would prefer to destroy something good if they don't feel it is benefiting them.

The solution for this situation is obvious. The portal should only open once per year, and it should be a one time use, like a redshirt year. This system is insane, but they chose it on purpose...

If you were so inclined to study a similar situation, look no further to the NBA who allowed 18 year olds to be drafted for decades. Some players were left with nothing but great memories and bankruptcy and others built generational wealth for themselves and their families.

"Sudden Wealth Syndrome" is real. There have been a number of studies.

Alabama hasn’t been Alabama since 2020

‘21 - 13-2 SEC Champions, NC Appearance

‘22 - 11-2

‘23 - 12-2 SEC Champions, Playoff Berth (4 teamer), kept UGA from a 3 peat.

No, it’s not an NC in those years, but only Bama fans would consider that “unsuccessful”. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ll give you 24….but a lot of factors played into that and the GOAT is no longer here.
