Anybody looked at Arizona St.'s schedule? They barely skirted by a lot of their wins and they played one SEC team and barely beat them. That SEC team didn't win a conference game!

And the Sundevils get an auto bid and bye???

Woe Nellie!
they beat miss state by a TD. the best team in the big 12 barely beat the worst team in the SEC, but sure all conferences are equal. As has been said basketball gets this right. imagine a basketball tournament where McNeese State is a #1 seed because they had the best record

If they don't want to be here, then so be it.

It used to be that I didn't know half the players because they didn't start until their junior or senior year.

Now I won't know half the players because they're on their 3rd college team in 3 years.
I used to keep up with the roster pretty closely. I also followed recruiting closely. I don’t do either now. Half the recruits will enter the portal at some point and there is more turnover than an NFL roster. I’ve just decided I’ll figure out who is on the team during fall camp and not care at all until then.

He’s right that we never should have been in that position and he and (gulp) Joey Galloway are correct in saying that suits in conference rooms don’t understand the SEC gauntlet…we got snubbed for inclusion…now, I don’t think we belonged based on the Bama Standard…but we had a better shot at advancing in this tournament than most teams in it..yes, I said most…
At worst, I think we would be the 5th or 6th best team in the CFP - at worst. And we could beat any of them if we play like we’re capable of. Problem is our regular season showed we can lose to any of them too.

I'm sorry Kendrick Law is going to let this be his legacy at Alabama.
I get the frustrating at not getting him the ball, but it did not have to end this way.
There should have been a flag called on the UcheaT player for getting in his face as he's trying to walk off. That is taunting. But hey, the flags up there have an orange tint...

I still think a big problem was the older players and their respect or lack of respect for the new staff and their buy in to what they were doing. Those older players had been under Saban, the GOAT, the best college football coach ever, etc etc.....the new staff could never live up to that and (in my opinion) the older guys knew that and it permeated throughout the rest of the team because there was a lack of real player leadership.

Just my opinion from the outside with no insight other than knowing how kids will react.
