Bama needs to start putting up style points or the media and coaches will have the be-loved usc trojans up in the #2 spot next week. considering they have the easiest schedule of the top 10. what is the love affair with usc?

Texas gathered all but 3 votes in both polls. Texas does look impressive. Hopefully their effort will get our players attention. Oklahoma, Missouri, and next OK St. My hats off to the Longhorns for getting'er done in grand fashion.:BigA:

Ga Tech at 6-1 should be in the AP top 25 IMO.

I hate to be like this.......but if we go 3-0, we'll be #1 going into the Croomed Bowl. Good thing is there hasn't been much Crooming this year.

We can beat LSU........we actually have a better QB in my opinion. Having Cody back would make me feel a lot better.

Yes GT should be in the top 25 they are playing as good or better than anyone in the ACC.

We can beat LSU without Cody...I, of course, would rather have him there but we can get the job done just the same.

All we have to do is win! The big ten doesn't have a championship game. The Big 12 and the SEC do.... it is that extra game that puts those leagues over the PAC 10 and the big ten

That's right. If we win out, we will also have had a late-season win over another top-ten team in the SECCG. If it happens to be UF, they could be as high as 4 or 5 at that time.:BigA:

Polls are all about the "sexiest" team at the moment. I'm convinced that there will never be a bona fide champion without a playoff system.

Maybe if more people had a man crush on Coach Saban we would get more pub. USC West beat up on perhaps the worst team in all BCS conferences -- our scout team would give Washington a good game. How USC West can even be considered ahead of Oklahoma State or Texas Tech is amazing considering the games they have played. It's just a popularity contest.

The Big XII South will beat up on each other. Texas is awfully impressive. Bama just have to stop drinking the Koolaid at halftime as it has a very negative effect on them in the 2nd half. Maybe Coach Saban will keep them out on the field at the half and let the players think it is an extra long time out so they keep playing at the high level they show in the first half.
