Bama vs Miss. State game thread

What a game, I believe I may have cried if that last three would have repeated.

I'm not happy we lost by any means but I'm definitely not disappointed in the team or play.

Some of you guys crack me up! :)

Seriously, when you witness what those of us who were at the game witnessed, the LAST thing anyone is thinking about is drawing up plays, getting the game underway so those at home watching on TV don't have to wait any longer.

Put yourself in the shoes of others before you concern yourself with something as trivial as a game. Games are important, but not that important.

The entire building felt like it was shaking. It was loud, REAL loud, like a train was coming right through the dome. Parking lot attendants outside, some of them, were literally holding onto poles, dangling like a flag in the wind on those poles hanging on for dear life.

It was scary. Nothing like I've ever witnessed before or ever want to witness again.

Let me also add that I am very thankful Riley hit the three to take it into overtime. I can only imagine what might have happened to people leaving the dome had the game ended in regulation.

I'm home now and just rocked my two-year-old son to sleep. I feel good to go now.

Roll Tide!

Thanks for the updates Jag. I'm glad everything worked out okay for you.

It's too bad our guys(especially Mykal) were not rewarded for their effort with a win tonight. After watching our last three games, it looks like we would've had a pretty good opportunity to make it to Sunday if we had pulled this one out-especially since the winner of the UGA/UK game will be playing two games tomorrow.

Since the NIT may be out of reach, does anyone know anything about the new CBI Tourney. Will we qualify for it, and if so, would we participate?

We will either get an invitation to the CBI or the NIT. Most likely the CBI. We won't know until Sunday however. We should have won this game, period. We controlled 30 of the 40 minutes played. I don't think that the weather delay had any affect on us whatsoever. We had begun to fall apart way before the storm there.

They never started. It will be at 12 noon EDT from Alexander Coloseum at GT. The Dome is unplayable. The semi finals will be at GT tonight and the finals at GT Sunday at 3 EDT.

Because GT only seats 9,200 only families and accredited media can attend. Tickets will be refunded.

I don't think there is anything wrong with fans being concerned about the outcome of the game. Once I found out everybody was ok there at the Georgia Dome, I wanted to win the doggone game once they decided to play.

I've been through a tornado at my job in Donalsonville, Georgia a few years ago. It killed 1 person. The tornado went right over our office. Once the storm was over, I thanked the Lord for his protection and went on with my life. And yes, I went back to watching ball games and wanting my team to win.
