Any thoughts and/or predictions for tonight's Barn - Va Tech game and the USC - OK game tomorrow night?

I think that Va Tech may just slip up on Auburn and beat them - kind of in the same vain as Texas Tech beat Cal. I also think the USC - OK game could be a pick-em but I'm leaning towards USC in a close one.

I know its trivial but something to ponder anyway.

I'm pulling for Va Tech, not entirely because they are playing AU, I just happen to like them. AU is playing pretty good ball, much depends on where their minds are. If they are truly concentrating on winning the Sugar and being undefeated, then they'll be hard to beat, but if they are dwelling on the fact that they are not playing for the NC, then VA Tech may sneak one in on them.

As for USC-OK, I'm pulling for OK. I haven't seen USC play all year and have only watched OK two or three times, but OK looked pretty good as usual.

We've already provided a blueprint for beating the barn and I doubt that Beamer will ignore it. The big difference is that they also have an offense. I think Va. Tech pulls it off.

I've seen both teams play a couple of times. USC is one of the luckiest teams in the country and just seems to be able to make the big play and pull it out just when they need it, i.e., Cal, UCLA and Va Tech. Oklahoma has come close to getting beat a couple of times also, i.e., fRaud's team played them close and OK State came close. I think they're both great teams but just think its USC's year. I like Pete Carrol too.

GO HOKIES!! GOBBLE-GOBBLE-GOBBLE

Actually I'd like to see an SEC win, but what the hey...nothing would stick in my hubbie's craw more than seeing an end to the barn's winning streak, on national television, in the Sugar Bowl. Aahh...a girl can dream, right?

Beamer knows how to get his team up for big games. I think the Barn comes out flat, wishing they were in the Orange Bowl

VT 23
Barn 17

I have to agree. F Beamer is a smart coach and I'm sure he'll take a page or two out of the defensive game plan C Kines had for the barn this year. It wouldn't surprise me to see Tech win this one (close).

VT wins

I think it'll be close, but they are a good team and very balanced. They also create turnovers. I am praying they win so Auburn can't say"we did all we could" and still got no respect. On second thought....

I tihnk those of you picking VT are picking with heart and not head. I don't see Auburn losing this game but I dont think they are going to dominate like they need to "get respect"

if you wont respect dont schedule ULM, The Citadel and Louisiana Tech (even if I am a student there I still know the team is sub-par)

I am pulling for Va Tech but I am tired of hearing that Va. Tech has the best Defense that Auburn has seen all year. Come on Did none of these guys see our defense and how they played Auburn?
