Tech making BYU looked like contenders! this game shouldn't be this close. Tech finding ways to not score.

The Big 12 has a decent thing going. They’ve survived the realignment apocalypse. They have a better product right now than the ACC. But they are not on the same level as the SEC from an overall competitive standpoint, and they have nothing like Ohio State/Indiana.

Exactly my take.

They both look solid against the teams relative to them in the Big XII but either would get blasted by an upper level team from the B1G or SEC.

Neither could make through either conference with less than 2-3 losses.

They are probably better than the ACC which isn’t saying much.

Seriously though the ACC, Big XII and G5 really have no business being in the Playoff this year.
