Biggest Loser Today May Be the Barn

I don't want enough talent to win - I want enough talent to win CHAMPIONSHIPS. And having another SEC team with a BCSNC on its resume will, without a doubt, make that more difficult. Having that team in our state will make it much more difficult.

There is a lot of talent in the South, but not enough to keep this many teams on top.

Well... we'll just have to agree to disagree. IMO, Saban will always have the advantage over CGC and company because of his proven track record in having championship teams and producing NFL players. And yes... I was talking about championship wins - not just having a winning record.

If things turn out to be a beauty contest for human pollsters, a one-loss AU is probably not going to have a chance to get to the BSCCG. They really needed us to stay at one loss and USC to stay at two... especially USC's situation.

If things turn out to be a beauty contest, The barn has beaten two teams that we have not.......

My question is this. Will ya'll actually root for Auburn to win the SECCG or the BCSCG (if they go)? I'm not so sure I would or could :eek2:.

If they win out and are playing Boise State I will dang sure root for them. I am so sick of the Boise St love from all the media that they have moved ahead of auburn in the pecking order for the time being.

I still expect us to show up and play hard in the Iron Bowl. There would be nothing better than to beat them when they have so much on the line.

Absolutely not. All we would hear from them is, "14-0, SEC Championship, NC, Heisman winner, no problem." Given their history, I have always hoped and believed that I would never see an Auburn NC in my lifetime. I am still holding out hope that will not change once this season is over.

The Auburn Cams took a double whammy today with S.C. losing. Now the most they can hope for is a three loss SECCG foe, and it could eaisly be a four loss team they face.

I had the strong feeling (if we won out) we would face Florida again, and I was not looking forward to that after the way they laid an egg at T-Town.

I know some Auburn fans that are sure hoping to play Florida in the SECCG.

If auburn wins out, there in the NCG.. period.

It's they're, not there. And no, they're not. Sorry, pet peeve. They dropped a spot last week, and this week their strength of schedule will take a hit with USCe getting pummeled. TCU will make a big move after the drumming they put on Utah, and Oregon isn't going anywhere. Remember 2004- nothing is set in stone when it comes to the BCS. Good luck though.
