Thought this was interesting. Check the current size he gives and then look at a couple of his recent 40 times. :eek2: :eek2: Alfy is going to be a monster!!!

Some where out there
I think we are getting ready to see some defensive ends the we haven't been use to in awhile. Deaderick and Washington truly were hard nosed guys and great players but I think the sacks are going to start coming more frequently beginning with Dareus

Holy Mackerel!! A 4.47 and 4.49 - 40 at the combine !! Plus he's smart and can read defenses! 260 pounds !
I agree, Alfy could be a monster. A combination of Hightower and McClain, only faster.

Alfy is going to start out at Jack LB, although he could eventually "grow" (as if that would be fair) into an end in our scheme.

And people were upset when we took Alfy and let Sanders decommit to the Boogs ;)
Exactly what has CNS accomplished for us to trust his judgement yet? I believe he wants the pass rush problems solved. He wants no noticeable drop-off on the defensive front. I wouldve like to have kept Sanders, but there's only so much room. Its survival of the fittest now, start, push for playing time, or enjoy your medical scholarship.

It's only getting better and Hill is a top 3 signee from this class, IMO.
