Question: Border crisis looming, what should be done?

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Hahaha. That’s funny. Kind of like when the pictures of kids in cages was from when Obama’s administration.
Obama is not running for president. Trump, however, is.

Here's an article which speaks to how the Obama and Trump administrations responded differently to "kids in cages."

I was just comparing how people will use photos without knowing the source of the photo. I’m not deep diving into differences in immigration between Obama and Trump that wasn’t the point of either post.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has drafted contingency plans to cut detention capacity and release thousands of immigrants as a result, according to a source familiar with the plan.

The draft plan comes as ICE faces a dire budget shortfall amid stalled congressional action on the White House supplemental request.

The Department of Homeland Security has grappled with record levels of migrants at the US-Mexico border over the last year, draining federal resources and funds and prompting a White House ask for $14 billion in border security funding as part of a broader national security request. The supplemental provided $7.6 billion for ICE.

A new bill has been filed to give state attorneys general greater authority and legal standing to sue the federal government when it fails to enforce federal immigration law established by Congress.

Republican U.S. Reps. Chip Roy of Texas and Dan Bishop of North Carolina introduced the Standing Up to the Executive Branch for Immigration Enforcement Act, or “SUE for Immigration Enforcement Act,” on Wednesday.

The six-page bill is being marked up by the House Judiciary Committee.

Sounds great, but as we both know it won't get past the Senate and no way Biden would ever sign a bill that would make him have to defend this immigration nonsense in court.
100% true, but in an election year, ya gotta show people that you're trying.

This hurts Dems in the short term, but one thing you have to give them credit for is they know how to play the long game. There are currently enough illegals in this country to create 22 new seats in the House and they are just getting started.
Don't worry, Trump has mass roundups ready to go that he says will help with the problem.

teh great replacement has already begun 11!!11!11!11!!!!
It's never been about replacement of any racial or ethnic group. It's just about creating a voter base that will put you in power and keep you there. It doesn't matter if the voters are from Latin American countries or Norway. It's just about votes from the Dem. point of view. They will take them however they can get them. A political party is a vehicle to win elections and hold and maintain power. I get the strategy. It is working for them.

Exactly. If this was10 million right-leaning Russians, the Dems would be rending their garments and screaming themselves hoarse. The ethnics of all this is nothing but a diversionary shot to get people looking at the wrong thing while the kill shot goes unnoticed.
