I agree, but it also worked great fro mark ingram against south carolina and abound that yearHonestly, I've never liked this concept. I can only think of one time it ever worked well and the player that it worked with was Tim Tebow when Meyer used him like that when Chri Leak was the QB.
The reason I don't like it is IF JM comes in the game EVERYBODY in the stadium knows it's probably a running play OR a deep ball. If everybody knows that, so does the defense.
If TB is deemed the starter, just play him. JMO.
