How does it further the American Way of life? Bottome line: It's immoral and it is not what the American way of life is supposed to be. America was established on moral values, for the one billionth freakin time. This was not part of it.

If this is legalized, America will once again take a step backwards. Not to mention the increased teaching of how homosexuality is ok to our children. It's not right whether you look at religiously or worldy (nature).

For some reason, that is ok to some.

To liberals (people with no moral compass) there is no harm in that at all. One day they will want to mary their pets.

Actually, Bush's amendment wouldn't stop states from allowing Homosexuals or lesbians to marry. It would actually allow states the right not to recognize weddings between a couple of the same sex if that states laws do not support the marriage. So if a couple got married in Ca. and moved to Utah, then Utah would not have to recognize them as a married couple.
Kerry and Edwards have been making fools of themselves because they blasted Bush saying that it should be a "states rights issue" while all along that is exactly what the amendment would do. If you saw the debate last night the moderator had to point that out to them after they made their idiotic remarks.

There is still the issue of legal unions
between the homosexuals. This amendment
does nothing to address that. The true
argument isn't just about homosexuals and
marriage. The fight is for the absolution
of "MARRIAGE" by the liberal left plain &
simple. They want traditional marriage,
traditional family etc as defined by our
"Almighty God" destroyed. Do not let your
selves be duped into thinking this is a
one issue fight because it is not. It is
a fight for Gods truth, Gods principles
and Gods ordained family structure.
