IMHO, this has been the #1 problem we have had in the Shula era. Even last year, with our beaten up offense, we moved the ball b/n the 20s. I can think of numerous occasions where we have had 1st and goal and dont come away with a touchdown. I was trying to figure out how we won back in the Stalllings era when we usually had a dominant D and a very plain offense, which is similar to what we have now. 1.)We played field position,2.)we ran the football, and 3.)we scored opportunistic touchdowns. It seems that #3 is what has been missing from the last two teams. Just thinking back to the Auburn game, we had the ball inside the 10 three times and only scored 3(maybe 6 pts). I'm just saying that we dont know how to finish a drive off. Do you think that we will be better at that this year? I hope so.
