That crossed a line. No way , NO WAY should an Alabama team ever cross onto the field of play with Orange anywhere on them. That includes spills from Orange Gatorade.

I've actually been wanting to see crimson pants with 2 white stripes for a while now. I think it'll look pretty good!

Not many folks remember in 1969 Alabama wore these for most of their games-100 sticker celebrating 100 years of college football. Several other teams wore similar decals for the 1969 season.

Bama wore white helmets in the 50s, 60s, 70's and early/mid 80s. That's pre-Bryant, the Bryant era, and post-Bryant.

But, the last time we wore them was under Ray Perkins.

I wonder if the "last memory" of white helmets being associated with RP, which is not the best memory for those of us who can remember it, impacts how we feel about them???

I go way back, but my only memories of the white helmets contain a lot of losing. Keep them stowed away!
