The Son of Sam murders were in 1977.

There were 1733 murders in NYC in 1979, the record at the time.
There were 382 in 2024.

That's with the city population rising from 7.1 million in 1979 to 8.48 million two years ago.

I know 2 things about The View.
1. Norm MacDonald got banned from it and the clip is hilarious.

2. MADTV did a skit where a farmer came out during a segment and dropped chicken feed. Also hilarious.
