It's obvious that OU is seriously over-matched here....

But what would have been the better selection by the CFBPC??

Georgia.... They JUST got smoked by LSU themselves
or
Oregon.... 2 Loss Pac-12 team
or
Baylor.....2 Loss Big12 who lost to Oklahoma TWICE
or
Wisconsin 3 Loss Big10 team who lost to tOSU TWICE
or
Florida 2 Loss SEC East Runner up??
or
Penn St 2 Loss BIG10 East Runner Up??

I mean they didn't have a clear cut choice really.
Oh, I would have also put OU in the playoff, but I hope the Big 12's reputation continues to take a beating because it could help us in the future.

LSU with 693 yards of offense and they have been running a conservative offense the entire 2nd half. They have only been forced to punt once.

My neighbors are OU fans and keep telling me how over-rated the SEC and Bama are....er...how about them apples? Come play in the SEC and then see how real college football is played. B12 is basically a G5 league + OU.

I know what you're saying is in jest, but frankly they are no better than a year ago. What has actually happened is the rest of the Big 12 regressed on offense.
Consider this - Baylol was undefeated against the rest of the Small 12. Yeah, the conference took a few steps backward this year.

All we had to do was beat Awbrens!!!! DANG IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seeing how the committee dropped us like a rock after that game, I am not convinced we would have made it in with a win over Auburn. It probably would have taken a 42-17 type win, and that simply was not going to happen. If Tua had not have gotten hurt... maybe. But after the loss to LSU and especially after his injury, I sensed a huge sigh of relief coming from the rest of the country and I think the committee is swayed by that sort of thing.
