Don't know if this has already been discussed explicitly by you guys or not, but what do you think is the primary reason for the success of our running game we say in the second half versus Ole Miss?
It could be they get chewed out at halftime.
It could be that Ole Miss D was getting tired.
It could be that Ole Miss D was getting frustrated at their offense for its ineffectiveness.
It could be that our O-line finally is starting to gel together, which is something we've been waiting to see.
I've heard all of these theories, as expected, tossed around the last couple of days.
While it may be a combination of these things, the fact that the success of the running game pivoted on the entry of Chad Lindsay cannot be a coincidence. I just read an article where it was stated that the battle was pretty great between him and Kelly in the pre-season, something I did not know. Like many of our recruits, I remember watching YouTube videos of Lindsay's "bulldozing ability".
I am looking forward to seeing him as our center as he's now our man.
