Charlie Kirk Part III

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

Okay, Israel has its fingers in a lot of American pies, that's true, but how do they benefit from a divided U.S. that's seemingly on the brink of civil war?
I think in days gone by, both Democrats and Republicans were accepting money from pro-Israeli lobbies. I think that is less true today than it was 40 years ago when I was in grad school. See The Lobby by Edward Tivnan (about AIPAC in American politics)
Part of that is the collapse of the Left in Israel. Israelis today are generally pro-Bibi Right of Center and anti-Bibi right of center.
US Democrats are a little wary of reaching out to right wing Israelis. (Although American Jews do traditionally skew pretty heavily Left, so they are inclined to the Democratic Party in the US.)
