One more thing of note click on the barn link. Notice the infinite FEW
things listed on them. I know its probably a listing of recent finds but still.
Then if that didn't suit your undies then scroll on down to this....
DUVAL, DAMON
3/03
Former Auburn kicker Damon Duval was arrested on a complaint made from a trailer park and could face a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence in city court, the Opelika-Auburn News reported Wednesday. A police report said Duval, 22, was arrested early Saturday, posted $500 bond and was released, according to the newspaper. Duval received a degree in exercise science last spring and kicked for the Tigers in the fall. Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville said he was unaware of the arrest. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/college/news/2003/03/12/duval_arrested_ap/

Thts old too but I don't remember that reference do you? How fitting
for the barn a trailor park and this recent fiasco.

The only thing that rises to NCAA probation status would be Coles taking the plane to the party. Bama got a few years probation because Langham signed a napkin.

According to the info there, Coles was withheld from competition as he should have been. I am not sure how that warrants probation. Is seems that it was without the knowledge of the school and when they found out, they took some action. To say that our probation was just because Langham signed a napkin is a simplistic explanation at best.

Certainly FSU takes players of more questionable character than we do, but a list of players misbehaving is not enough to say that they should have been put on probation at some point.

I would say that the shoe scandal is the most likely candidate for supporting some type of penalty.

I'm always torn about what to think or feel about FSU.

Most all of my family lives in Tallahassee, so there's familial ties to the university through there, and I did grow up watching them quite a bit, so it's hard to say anything to them about it...

But I always kinda got the feeling Bobby Bowden'll let em do most anything they want. JMO.

The coaches at alabama dealt with the situations at hand. That said, how is the University responsible for what a player does? How is the university responsible for what a rogue booster does? The nzza hammered us and said that we had a pattern of abuse, if all of those issues at one school (fsu) doesnt warrent at least an investigation, because were there is smoke there is usually fire.

That is my biggest problem with the ncaa. Not only do they selectively prosecute, but many of their rules don't make common sense.
