How long do you think his repaired shoulder will last behind that paper-thin offensive line? I get flashbacks of the AU-Vanderbilt game last year. Auburn started on the one-yard line and was trying to drive the ball downfield to get into field-goal range. Todd dropped back and did what? Threw an INT, GAME OVER!! Ha Ha Ha!!!

 WOW!! Yet another example of trying to force a QB who is perceived as being a running threat to a position he's not comfortable with. I wish Kodi all the best, but I doubt seriously that the transition to WR will be an easy for him.

Obviously, I'm not in their camp, but if Todd is the best they've got, look for a repeat of last season. Geez.

Does this mean that Neil Caudle is officially a bust? I'll say yes. This guy couldn't wrestle the starting job away from Cox. That may not be an indictment in and of itself, but when you consider that Franklin offerred JUCO Todd, well, what does that say about the former staff's impression of his skills when they watched him take reps with the back-ups in practice? The job was wide-open last year and he didn't make the 2-deep. It's wide open this year and he still comes up short.

I dunno. I don't follow AU closely, basically just keep my ear out for major news from the place. Maybe Caudle's been hurt, I dunno. Whatever the case may be though he's a junior who had proably low 4* talent who at this point seems unlikely ever to play. You've gotta figure the AU faithful would have wanted at a minimum for him to be ready to be the man as a redshirt junior.

Kodi Burns, however, I'm hesitant to slam the gavel on the bust verdict. This guy was a Rivals 4* and has enough athletic ability that if they do in fact move him to WR he could do well for himself there. So I'll hold off on calling him out as a bust.

Todd will be scraped off the football field with a spatula by the fourth game of the year. All-Barn has what, about six QB's on the team? It's a good thing for them because their QB's are going to take a beating in '09.

I hope we can pay them back for sacking our QB's 11 times in the 2005 game. We owe them some payback in spite of exercising some demons to the tune of 36-0 this past November.

I will call him a bust then. :)

Burn stinks. The guy will never make it as a QB. He can't throw the ball. As a QB he stinks.

I agree he does have some athletic ability. I think they should move him permanently to RB or WR. I still say when his career is over people are going to be wondering what the recruiting services were smoking when they rated Burns a 4-star prospect.

I don't know much about Burns and I don't have any connections at All-Barn, but I would not be surprised to see Burns transfer to another school, probably a smaller school.

I agree that Kodi Burns stinks but mostly because he is not on a team of decent players. If Kodi transferred to a smaller school where he could start immediately he would prolly shine as a 4*. JMO

I don't think at this point it matters what Awbarn trys because they have nothing to lose.
Don't ever doubt the mighty awbuhn fambily tigers.
In case you were not aware...they are F A M B I L Y...

Still this is hilarious after all the talk of KH being "Tebow-esque" and such. I thought it was quite obvious this guy (Kodi) was another example of the best athlete on his high school team playing QB and nothing more. He was never an SEC caliber QB.

Here's hoping this leads to much dissension and turmoil for their entire season! :biggrin2:
