Looks like we got all of the second place votes in AP poll

unfortunately only harris and coaches count and both had OSU at 6 last week, likely to move up at least 1 or 2 spots

OSU probably moves up one spot, being idle, due to Arkansas losing. I don't see them jumping Va Tech who obliterated Va or Stanford since they won. That is why I think Va Tech and Stanford victories were in our interest yesterday, to keep OSU pinned in the Harris and Coaches poll.

This would keep OSU back, and without obvious agendas taking over against a rematch, would keep us in the BCS title game. At best for OSU, they jump Stanford who does not play next week and Clemson beats Va Tech.

So we need to pull for the Hokies next week and the Sooners. Either team winning solidifies our spot in the BCS title game.

I know the AP doesn't count toward the bcs but why did OK ST jump Stanford. They didn't even play.

Wynn Las Vegas has BCSCG set with LSU a 1.5 pt favorite. Of course, the game has to be set for any action on it

Some are saying that's a message being sent against the rematch and that Okie lite is being set up to jump us if they beat the Sooners.

There is some clear pro OSU-to-BCSCG AP politicking going on though. Idle OSU jumped Stanford whose 28-14 win over ND wasn't nearly as close as the score? They're trying to boost OSU into a position where a win over OU could put them into the big game.

Admitted, AP's irrelevant. But a similar trend should be expected in Harris and Coaches, though it should be noted that they have further to climb - were 6th last week vs 5th in the AP.
