Wow, some 32 years ago Jim Henson ended this show trying to teach kids we have to take care of the planet. I never watched this, but it’s a powerful finale for a show.

Mid-winter temperatures in South America rival those of the baking northern hemisphere summer
Winter temperatures have neared 40 degrees Celsius in parts of South America, which is up to 20C higher than normal for this time of year and the equivalent of Sydney hitting 35C in the first week of August.
