Coaching carousel 2025-26

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

So much for Matt Rhule to Penn State.

At least a few of these schools that fired their coaches are gonna hire a downgrade from what they had…you just hate to see it hahaha

Watch for Glenn Schulman (sp) I believe he could be in at Florida, just saying, Urban Myer at LSU, wildcard at Florida, Eli Drinkwitz
I would bet my feet urban Meyer never coaches again. Schumann will get a shot somewhere at some point but it won’t be Florida.

GS, the OC at Georgia??? If that's who I'm thinking, they'd be crazy.

CUM in Baton Rouge??? That would be a hilarious marriage.

Drinkwitz is probably one of the most underrated coaches in the SEC. He's done more with less at UM. But, the expectations there are minimal compared to UF, which is what gets most of these guys. UF expects to play for NCs. Could Drink handle that pressure?

The pressure to win Natties is intense at LSU and Florida, and neither seems to be in a great position to get there at the moment. I suspect they won't do it with whoever they bring in next either.

Both parties are just arrogant enough to do it

He could win a title in the first year, but would invite some crazy long-term consequences

Schuman is the defensive coordinator. Mike Bobo is their OC and the fans can't stand him.

they don't seem very impressed with schuman either
Weird how he went from the next big thing to not that great the second muschamp left. Personally I think the addition of t Robinson has something to do with it. We stopped tackling when he showed up too

I don't think it has as much to do with Schuman as it does they don't have the same level of talent as they did in their two NC years. Players matter, we've seen it with our team and it can be seen across college football. You just don't see teams stacked with talent any longer.

They lost their game changers on the inside.

Nothing makes defensive coaches look more geniuser than an interior lineman who needs constant double teams.

Yep, we see the impact it has had on our defense. We don't get near the push or disruption with our DT's as we used to. Also, we don't have near as talented LB's as we used to that could absolutely roast anyone running through any open gaps.
