That would be a disaster in the long run.

But you know what until we would potentially have to face them in the Playoff game I’d be rooting for them to get in and win a game or two.

I’m sure Golding is staying to get a crack at the job but good on him anyway for not bailing to go to LSU.

If they are indeed about to lose their entire offensive staff, the committee should consider whether they belong in the playoffs. You’d have GA’s and analysts trying to get them ready to play? My goodness.

I certainly don't think Golding would be a great choice but he may be the best they can get. As Saban said if Kiffin would have stayed at OM he'd have to continue building his team through the portal and what high profile coach would want to build a team that way? Not Brian Kelly or any other big name coach that might be available. When Golding was at Alabama there was talk that Golding might land a HC job somewhere sometime. This is probably the moment.
