he has kids. little disease spreading monsters
My DIL got Covid from a child in her preschool class...my son got it from her. Their children have not come down with it, nor have we. All of us are vaccinated...it was like a bad cold or flu for 3 days is what they said...took Paxlovid. The stuff is still there, folks...

One last thing about this. When I told them about my uncle, they said that the fact that he died so quickly after being diagnosed and "had no symptoms" was a lie. They told me if he was that far gone, there were symptoms that he was likely ignoring. Given what i know about this particular uncle (he was a bit of a recluse), this actually makes some sense. I am just glad it is over now.

Yeah, I probably annoyed all of you with this thread, but if you think this was bad, just think how crazy I was driving my co-workers, friends, and family with it. Everyone was probably sick of me talking about it almost nonstop.
So...I had mine today, the 3rd in 3 years. The last 2 had 11 and 12 polyps. Today -- ZERO, NADA, NONE -- could not believe it. I think it is all the chemo I have taken for the MM. Anyway, get to wait 3 years!!!

So I have something called neurofibromatosis. I have had it since birth.I have a very mild case. Unfortunately, one has caused some concern with my doctor. It is located in the middle of my upper back. It is also located ina place where I had a mole removed when I was about 14. The mole back then was benign but my parents were warned that it had the potential to have gotten worse if not removed. I have forgotten the technical term they used back then. Anyway the neurofibroma is located approximately where the mole was. These can become cancerous, but it is rare. I will be having a biopsy done on the 20th. I will be having a couple other "bumps" biopsied as well.

I am nervous as hell. I don't want to worry family or friends and I know no one at my work even cares so I have not told anyone until now.

Don't sweat it, you'll be fine.

Praying for you.

follow-up

the lesion removed from my back was benign. all is good.

my last health issue is getting my eyes checked out. neurofibromatosis can form in the eyes, so not going to lense crafters or a place that sells glasses. I need to find an actual eye specialist.
