And the supposed lunar-landing vehicle is still on the drawing board.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday that outlined the history of the SLS, our supposed booster for this program........it was termed "Senate Launch System". It was a jobs bill. Congress didn't want to lose jobs when the Shuttle program was ended, so they mandated that the new rocket be made with reused parts from the Shuttle.

I'll believe it when I see. NASA misses every deadline these days. They can't even get off the ground to just fly around the moon right now. How many times has the launch been scrubbed? Yet they want us to believe they will build a base on the moon by 2028?

Comedy headline for sure. Maybe they should have a successful launch first before making these dumb announcements.
