Congratulations to Bama on winning the SEC Championship. I didn't want us to get embarrassed and we accomplished that goal.

I agree with Nick Saban, Georgia is definitely one of the four best teams in the country. Notre Dame should put their heads between their legs for making it into the Playoff by sitting on the couch today. I'd love to line up against them next weekend and show them what a SEC beat down looks like.

Again, congrats... hope you guys win it all again this year!

CNS did say that UGA is one of the 4 best teams in the country, and also the best we have faced this year. Along with that he didn't want to play them again, which he called the best compliment he could give them.

Maybe we will see you next year...................in January. Can't disagree with the assessment of being one of the 4 best. Certainly better than the team that doesn't have to play that extra game.

Well coached team, played tough and fought for 60 minutes. Not much more that you can ask of your team.

3. Georgia
4. Notre Dumb

5. Oklahoma - play a defense
6. Ohio State - don’t get blown out by Purdue

I agree with others that this is a very classy post that requires a lot of maturity. I cannot imagine how disappointed you must feel after watching your team play great and whip our tails for most of the game only to see it slip away at the end. I have had a lot of bad experiences with UGA fans, so I want to say thank you for your post. Good luck to you guys in your bowl game.

Thanks! I was thoroughly impressed by UGA tonight. They are one heck of a team, and I would hate to see Bama face them again.

It was hard and I won't be able to watch a replay of the game. The fake punt at the 50 on 4th and 11 in a tie game is another in a long line of Georgia blunders that leaves long suffering Dawg fans crying for what might have been. But at the end of the day all the credit goes to Bama. They know what it takes to be a Champion. They know how to finish. This Bama team is a once in a generation team. You guys are scary good and deserve to take the Title home.

Georgia played one heck of a game.

It's tough to play a team that is like looking in the mirror at your own team...
Same Defense, Same plays, part of the same coaches.

The game was closer than it could have been.
Alabama played poorly the entire first half.

Tua bounced passes off the numbers of several of our usually reliable Receivers. That didn't help...

The big advantage Alabama had over Georgia was depth.
Tua gets hurt, and Jalen trots on and wins the game.

Next year I expect Georgia will be better than today.

Thanks for the class and respect. Georgia was by far the toughest team Bama played this year (last year too).
If Kirby ever rises above his insane penchant for trick plays at the wrong time (timing is everything), you guys are going to win it all, at some point.

Hey, make it a point NOT to leave now that the championship is over. Check in frequently, look at the threads. You're a solid contributer and we'd love to have you around.

Regarding the game, I'm just sorry man. I know this sucks, and sucks hard. College football has a way of being some of your best memories and worst hurts.

I think I'm done going to Bama Georgia games for the rest of my life. When these two teams meet post season, it's a damn game for the ages and I'm aging horribly from these.

I was there and don’t know how we pulled it out. Honestly, if it weren’t for the inexplicable fake punt, we probably wouldn’t have.
 
Very classy -- I have 2 daughters in law who are GA fans...and their families. They handle it well...probably better than I would have at their age.

I think we will see UGA several times over the next few years in SECCG.
