I would like to pass my congratulations to the players, coaches and support staff on a much improved season so far.
As the tide moves forward the area that needs improving the most is hitting, that is also the hardest thing to do in the game of baseball.
Our pitching needs to be more consistent.
Our defense is solid but still it can be improved.
Some of our fans are fickle, but who cares.

The decisions to be made are one. Head coach and facilities are up to bill battle.
two. Asst coache are up to coach G. Three. Recruiting is a team sport of all the above and although we are at a disadvantage, yes even with the miss schools, we must find and develop players that can help finish the climb back to the top..

this season may end in Omaha or it could end next week.. But one thing for sure is nobody can truthfully say our team is not improving. Rtr

I agree that this was a step forward, and our rpi of #25 with a sos of #12 is pretty solid considering the offensive issues we have had. But it is pretty obvious that these guys won't back down and on their best day can beat anyone (note that I did not say that they are as good as anyone, but they can play with the best).

I would like to see the hitting improve. I would like to see the late-game pitching decisions be made where it doesn't look like we are just standing around with our fingers crossed. But most of all, I would like to see SOMETHING done to turn 'the Joe' back into a nice home-field advantage for us. I don't know what it would take, that's not my job. But I'd like to see people come back out to the ballpark.

But yeah, we took a positive step this year.

In my opinion what it takes if for fans to make sure the other team feels as uncomfortable as possible. Not mention that if an error or brain fart happens they will hear about it for the rest of day/series. It doesn't have to be personal when riding a player, but heckling athletes is as old as sports themselves. It needs to be a place where people hate to come play. As far as umpires go, riding them will usually cost you somewhere, so they should be left alone for the most part!
