They've agreed to a short-term that will keep fox games through at least labor day weekend, maybe the whole season it isn't really clear.
A deal will be done before the NFL starts next Thursday. Spectrum did it with ABC/ESPN a couple of years ago and missed 1 or 2 Bama games but miraculously the day before the NFL was to start a deal was struck IIRC.

I was unaware they'd lost Fox. That could be a biggie. When Google Fiber first became available, I switched to GF and YTTV simultaneously from Comcast. Comcast had jacked up their cost a bit at a time over the years to where there was no comparison. Later, I sprung for GF's 2 gig service and I didn't notice that much speed gain, so I took that $30 and reverted to "up to" one gig and applied it to making Youtube Premium. It fits us. We generally watch news, sports and Youtube. I can't think of the last time I watched series TV...

Same here. I'm no Auburn fan, but I want to watch the game Friday. So they have 'til about 10 minutes before kick off to get this fixed, or I am on to something else (or at least starting a free trial for something).
This corporate nonsense is so stupid. They did this last year with Comcast and Charter with ESPN I believe (or was it CBS or ABC?). I used a free trial of FUBO to help my inlaws. It was over in a week. They are both holding their genitals over the flame and waiting to see who's the toughest. Meanwhile, we're the family jewels getting roasted. I hate them all.

Fox still works on my YTTV. I know they are undergoing contract negotiations and announced a temporary extension yesterday.

I have shared this before but this is a fantastic tool for figuring out which streaming / cable services you should get based on your network & simultaneous stream priorities:

It is not entirely th streaming services fault or cable or satellite. It is all on these networks wanting to charge more and more for the privilege of using their channels. In the end, the networks will win and the prices will go up again. Mostly Disney is to blame since they own almost everything.

We moved over the summer and I've yet to subscribe to any service but plan to do so in view of the upcoming season.

I used YouTube TV last fall for about a week when Directv had its contract dispute with ESPN because I thought I might miss a Bama game, but was able to cancel within the first "free" week.

So, I'm about ready to jump back in with YouTube TV. Is there a good reason NOT to go with them aside from the new, increased price which is roughly 80 bucks a month?

Additionally, I'm considering the NFL package as well. Planning on watching alot more football this year.

Planning to use my wife's email address to get the new customer discount for the first couple of months too!

Alright, change my mind!
I moved to YouTube when they got going good, never looked back.
$83 is a lot of money, but You Tube delivers.
