I'm not sure if he is going to play baseball at ICC. If he does, he'll have a chance to improve his baseball stock.

I can gaurantee or staff will re-recruit him next year in hopes of him coming and playing WR for us. Wonder if they'll try to RS him like they did Stover?

I know he's said that's what he would like to do, but not sure if Itawamba is going to let him.

If he wants to do it, I'm not sure there is much that Itawamba can do about it. I doubt they wanted Nikita to sit out this season either. Honestly I would love to see him do this. He was a spectacular high school athlete who has obviously adapted well to the WR position. It'd be great to get him in here with three years of eligibility.

ICC's Jennings Named First-Team All-America!
The University of Alabama signee out of Pinson Valley High School, which is just outside of Birmingham, finished the fall with 54 catches (6.8 per game) for 848 yards and six touchdowns for ICC, who finished 6-2 on the campaign. Jennings was the only player from a north division school to receive this prestigious honor.

“I was a little surprised when Coach (Jeff) Carter told me the news this afternoon,” said Jennings during a break from his conditioning workout with his new Indian baseball teammates. Jennings, who was selected in the 18th round by the Cleveland Indians in last year’s draft, now turns his attention to playing baseball at Itawamba Community College after his stellar season on the football field. “This is a great honor and I couldn’t have done it without the help of my coaches and teammates. With Coach Carter’s offensive schemes, I was able to get the ball a lot and that made it easier for me. All I had to do was run my routes right and make plays.”
