TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –
The final game of the series between Alabama and Texas A&M was canceled due to inclement weather, when play was halted with two outs and the Crimson Tide leading 4-0 in the bottom of the first inning. The start of the game was postponed an hour and starter at 2:06. After just under one full inning of play, the rain halted the game at 2:25 and after a two-hour and 10-minute rain delay, the game was officially canceled at 4:35 p.m. The game will not be made-up.

After Alabama blanked the Aggies in the top of the first inning, Alabama scored four runs in the bottom of the inning on a two-run single by Austen Smith and a two run home run by Brett Booth. After the Booth home run, the umpires call the game due to rain and play never resumed. All stats for this game will not count.

The Crimson Tide will return to Southeastern Conference play on Friday, May 3, when Alabama travels to Mississippi State to start a three-game series. First pitch for the series opener against the Bulldogs is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CST, and the game will be televised on ESPNU.
