Diego Pavia seeking 7th year now

He is not seeking another year:

"As his attorneys worked to make it a class-action case, though, the Vanderbilt quarterback said he does not intend on playing another year at Vanderbilt."
Key phrase: "does not intend on playing another year". He doesn't say he won't, he just doesn't intend to. But if the ball and dollars bounce right, he'll probably be back. He's got to support his mom and that entourage up in the stands.

It also says, he doesn't intend to play another year at Vanderbilt.

Hmmm. He beat us, so I see him at awbern nextseason... ;)

They'd pay him 10 million to come down there. They are obsessed with anyone who has beaten Alabama... Hugh, Arnold, etc., they are blinded to everything else their obsession is so great.

Honestly wish we'd start playing them every third year or so in September and stop giving them relevance as a program.

The free COVID year has been run into the grond and used as an excuse for hanger ons to hang around WAY too long. That needs to be a thing of the past now. It was extended to athletes who were in school when COVID first hit, NOT to those who were still in highschool at the time

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A lawyer for Heisman Trophy runner-up Diego Pavia and 26 other football players has cited the NCAA's decision to allow an NBA draft pick to return to college basketball as a reason that a federal judge should let his clients play in 2026 and 2027.

Although Pavia plans to enter the NFL draft, he is continuing the lawsuit, which challenges an NCAA rule that counts seasons spent at junior colleges against players' eligibility for Division I football. Pavia just keeps screwing up college football

I thought we had already discussed this?

I knew the basketball player would eventually become a factor. How do you become a first round pick in the NBA, play professional basketball overseas for a couple years, and then get four years of college eligibility? Why wouldn't these same rules apply to football players? Why are there any eligibility rules?

Will the madness ever end. I'd like to have BY and King Henry on our roster next year.

Well, these situations are not comparable and hopefully the judge throws out the case. False equivalence. Also he’s already made up his two years at his tour of college campuses.

Diego Pavia still starting qb for the Commodores in 2095...

Pavia has no international anything on his resume, so that will go absolutely nowhere...
