I sent an email to CSS asking if they plan on showing any of the College Station Regional. This was the reply.

"Thank you for taking the time to write. We are carrying complete coverage of the Auburn regional. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you."

I also sent a similar email to Fox Sports Southwest. Will let you know what they say.

No TV as far as I know. A&M did webcasts for most of its home games this year at aggieathletics.com, but it does not seem to be doing it for the regional (NCAA may not allow it?). If A&M does webcast the games, you would have to pay a small fee for Ultimate Aggie Access. I have no idea how good the webcast were since I was usually at the games. Many out-of-town Ags seemed to like it.

Their decision doesn't surprise me. Every weekend, they would show UGA's game on Friday, UT's game on Saturday and AU's game on Sunday. I don't know why they never showed our games. I'm curious what their ratings were when those three schools played Bama versus other weekends. I'd be willing to bet they would get better ratings if they would show Bama games.

I believe it was a snag in contract negotiations that prevent UA games from being televisied by CSS this season. In the past they have offered decent coverage of 'BAMA baseball.

Just checked the Texas A&M site (aggieathletics.com) and it says all regional games will be shown live on the net. Their service is $4.95 per month.

Here is a press release for live video streaming for all College Station Regional games at aggieatheltics.com:

Oops already posted in another thread, well I am an Aggie.

CrimsonTradition.com will carry the video broadcast for the Bama games. If I understand correctly, this is as some sort of arrangement worked out with the aTm internet broadcasts. For games between Bama and Houston or ORU, David Crane and Cris Stewart's radio broadcast will be synchronized with the webcast. For Bama aTm games, the audio from the aTm broadcasters will be played along with the video.

Lets face it, there's no sports entity out there that really and truly gives a C$$$ about the average Joe Fan, if ya dont want to pay then read about it in the papers the next day........We get to watch FSU & Jacksonville down here at 7p.m. on Sunshine Network....WHOOPIE!!
