Agree 100%, but for whatever reasons or reason he didn't start those games is likely what has driven him to keep honing his craft.He should be working on year 3 as a starter.
I know there is NO WAY to replicate a game situation (especially ones like against UGA on the road OR UT at home last week) but so far what Ty has done in prepping for his time looks like it worked.
I sure hope other young QBs (especially those we are recruiting) don't miss out on how sitting a year or two isn't a kiss of death but instead may be to your advantage.
