I think we are going to be way more physical and way more attacking the rim this year...Gonna be “fun, fun, fun” this BB season: Allen, Holloway, Samuels, Cloer, Richardson, Fielder, Diaz, Bristow… Probably hit 110-120 multiple times. If they can play any D they could be a real threat.
I wouldn’t expect Holloway to be back.Gonna be “fun, fun, fun” this BB season: Allen, Holloway, Samuels, Cloer, Richardson, Fielder, Diaz, Bristow… Probably hit 110-120 multiple times. If they can play any D they could be a real threat.
Evidently CNO has the same opinion --if he could not help the team then he wouldn't be coming this year.I had posted a while back that I had read where it was CNO/staff's goal to get Diaz in THIS year. I imagine that's what this is!
Concerning his age/youth/experience: There will always be a learning curve for a reclassified freshman who ought to be playing their senior year of HS ball, but Diaz's curve looks less steep to me. The kid is ready to play at this level IMO.
You could be right but I think most will be shocked if he’s not back. IIRC, all of the legal impediments have been cleared, other than just jumping through the hoops of compliance. Byrne issued his “wait a minute” proclamation but IMO, it was just to make it clear that Alabama took this violation seriously and will dot all i’s and cross all t’s.I wouldn’t expect Holloway to be back.
Go watch his tape... there's a lot of it available. This guy's game is similar to Philon's, but he's far more advanced than Philon was at this stage in his career. Especially, he appears to be a better passer than Philon already - and with the surrounding cast we need that part of his game more than scoring. IMO, by the middle to late season he'll be starting at PG for us barring injury. So, he's gonna reclassify to this year's team? Mighty young but maybe he can hold up and at least provide depth.
