"That guy" or girl who knows it all about everything and has to correct everyone on every little trivial thing he/she doesn't think is factually correct? To the point of wanting to punch them in the face.
Get it right, peoples.....

Seems pretty reasonable to me. They are running a business.my apartment complex requiring a 60 day notice for leaving. so if I were to hypothetically get a job in another state. I would still have to pay for this stupid place for 2 months and by breaking my lease I also get charged an extra month. now all this despite only having 2 months left on my lease.
OK fine. but no apartment will hold a place for 60 days. every single time I have had to move, I have had to give a 60 day notice with no place to move to.Seems pretty reasonable to me. They are running a business.
So you just tell them you're not reupping and are moving out at the end of your lease. You save the third month.OK fine. but no apartment will hold a place for 60 days. every single time I have had to move, I have had to give a 60 day notice with no place to move to.
my problem with this stupid rule now is I only have 2 months left. If I left tomorrow, I would still get charged for the 2 months plus a third month for "breaking my lease"
I rented for years before buying, moving many times, and never had a problem following the notice rules and avoided overlapping rents. No idea what it is like where you are, but rental turnover was high enough where I lived that it wasn't a problem. Just made for a busy month.OK fine. but no apartment will hold a place for 60 days. every single time I have had to move, I have had to give a 60 day notice with no place to move to.

Reason #578,217 that I now know I'm getting old. I have no idea why people who receive a gift for a baby shower, wedding, or graduation do not send a thank you card. Most of these types of gifts are pretty nice and if they were worth the time to send them an invitation, then I think they are worth the time to send them a Thank You card for the gift. Because let's be honest, a lot of invitations like these are (in part) for the gifts.
The older I get and the more "younger people" are running businesses I'm starting to find it harder and harder to come across people who speak on the phone rather than text the entire business communication over a phone. It is hard for me to fathom there are multitudes of people who grew up mainly communicating over text or some form of "chat" than in person or actually talking on the phone. But it is very true and it is very frustrating.
I've been texting a guy for two days over something that literally a less than 10 minute conversation would handle. But he "doesn't like talking on the phone". Pansy...
In doing transactions that start from classifieds - in my case buying a motorcycle off CL or FBMP - the first message I send includes my phone number & a request to call me so we can discuss things over the phone. Whenever I get a call back - it's usually a sale. There have been times when they continued to send messages instead of calling and it's very aggravating and a time sucker when things could move along much smoother on the phone.
Some folks will leave their number in their ad - sometimes it's one of the photos in the classified. I would gravitate towards those ads more than others because that seller is a communicator. I don't know what the other's are....

"I'm (150%,1000%, etc) in favor of (whatever)". Cant be more than 100%
Calling a lectern a podium. You stand on a podium, behind a lectern.
Irregardless is not a word.
My problem with apartment living...you get a deal from them, say $100 off, to sign on and move in but after the first year they go up $100. The next year the same...they keep going up on your rent regardless of whether you are good, on-time paying renter. So, they prioritize new renters over keeping existing ones. Finally got fed up with that and bought my first townhome. Never looked back.my apartment complex requiring a 60 day notice for leaving. so if I were to hypothetically get a job in another state. I would still have to pay for this stupid place for 2 months and by breaking my lease I also get charged an extra month. now all this despite only having 2 months left on my lease.
