Since he was from the west I never really paid too much attention to him or his teams. I know he had some good years. Was he good at calling plays?

There was some that wanted him hired to be the Shula's replacement. I'm glad they were wrong then, and hopefully they will be this time too.

I have pretty much sworn off most sports related television excluding the actual games. ESPN doesn't have analysts anymore. They have people playing characters. They are baby faces or heels like in pro wrestling. I can't stand it. This was introduced, in my opinion, with First Take, and it has now grown all over their programming. A few shows like the Experts on ESPN U are still watchable but that's about it. I have tried out Fox Sports and it is better in my view, but they focus so much on baseball, and I don't like baseball. I understand why since they have the contracts for MLB.
