Hey - I'm not sure if any of you have seen, heard, been on the E2M diet. It's really more than a "diet" and an entire philosophy about what you eat & when + exercise. The main thing for me is that I'm not doing it if I have to feel like I'm starving all the time. This plan has some GREAT recipes and I'm never hungry and always eating good, fresh home cooked food.

Two cookbooks with some of the main recipes :
There's also a FB group / experience.

It's totally worth it - even if you're not needing or wanting a "diet" . In the cookbook, there are some fantastic recipes using things like red peppers instead of tomato-based sauces, cashew cream instead of sour cream, etc. Everything we've cooked has been delicious and even our kids like it :D

Anyway, just wanted to share this and hope, if you're looking for something like this, that you check it out. If it works for me it can work for you

I'm averaging about 10 lbs down per month in 2023, so far, without even thinking about it too much.

My wife and I are big fans of healthy eating. We follow Bobby Parrish's recommendations on just about everything (Flavcity). We did the Chris Wark diet (Chris beat cancer) thing for a while and then went totally vegan for about 6 months. Doctor loved me and had perfect bloodwork. We finally got worn out of all the cooking and meal prep so now it is back to a meat and green. Still do one meal a day though and also water fast once a month (48-72 hours) but still do not feel as healthy as we did eating all vegies. We will look into this diet, thanks!

My wife is all in and joined the FB group (I think it's like $400 lifetime per couple). She does the running and workouts pretty religiously and is probably - at 50 - in the best shape ever. She and my older daughter are running the SLC 5k next Friday and the 1/2 marathon next Saturday. They like running :D

My stated goal to my daughter is to get to my college "playing" weight by the time she leaves for college next August. I'm 1/2 way there only in 7 months and feel much better as would be expected. Once you achieve your goals, they have a maintenance version so that's about where my wife is. Knees and other things keep me from running, but doing a lot more walking now.

One other thing I forgot to add -- Each week you get what they call a "celebration" meal. You can eat whatever you want. That's huge motivation for me :D We go to a great restaurant each week that we haven't eaten at previously and call it a date night.

Sounds awesome man. You are inspiring me to get back to my playing weight :) At 57, I have bad knees too but the treadmill, set at max elevation and about 2.5 - 3 miles per hour for 20 minutes works wonders for the cardio. Man, really miss running.
