Are the games that are televised on Lincoln Financial normally also on Gameplan? Anybody?

Another question. Seems like I read somewhere that ESPN Gameplan blacked out PPV games in the states of said schools. Is that true? Thought about getting ESPN Gameplan to keep from having to pay the PPV fee for each of those games but not if they get blacked out there.

Yep. That's why they black them out.

LF games are also blacked out if you live in an area where the game is normally broadcast.

Not that the blackout would matter for that game . . . you just switch channels.

What are "Lincoln Financial" games? I haven't lived in Bama since the mid-80's so I'm not familiar with the term. I realize Lincoln Financial is a sponsor but what are they sponsoring? PPV games?

I have dish network and live in Montana, and it gives you the option of purchasing the game PPV only. I understand that Direct TV does the same.

But, if we have 3 or 4 games PPV at 25-30 bucks a pop, That's $75-$100 so why not get the Package for $120 or so. You get to see other schools PPV games if you live out of those schools black out areas.

Correct me if I am wrong, but can't you go into the programming on your box and change your ZIP? I think you do this when looking for coordinates to direct you dish. On Dishnetwork, It's menu 6-1-1.

Putting a zip code into your menu is only for dish pointing purposes. The programming you receive is based on the address that is actually on your account.
