... that during Halftime of the Clemson vs Notre Dame game, Gordan Ramsey made a Denver Omelette and plastered it to the faces of the Playoff Committee members!

It certainly looks like GA would have been a better matchup for Clemson. That would have been an outstanding game, but the Domers got their every 6 year whipping. ND has a good team, but not great, and they are playing a great team.

Re: ESPN Is Reporting...

Then the committee members wiped the egg off their faces and ate it. They then told the Buckeyes and Bulldogs to win their games on the field if they don't want their fates to rest in the committee's hands. Don't get smoked at LSU or blown out against Purdon't.

I appreciate your bluntness.

You got an honest lol for that one.

Re: ESPN Is Reporting...

After tonight they will be telling ND join a conference unti then don’t call us and we won’t call you. This team struggled with Vandy for heavens sakes. Time for ND snobbery to come to an end. As much as I hate to admit it either OSU or Georgia deserved the fourth spot. This isn’t the number 10 team in the nation much less three. Might be only my opinion but definitely looks right by what we have seen tonight.

Agree you have to take care of business on the field, but if UGA didn't have to play in a Conference Championship game against the #1 team in the nation, then their body of work wins out over ND. I think that's the issue here. The Committee should penalize ND for not playing within the ACC like the rest of their sports teams.

This this this this OMG this.

Unless I’m mistaken, the four best records (number of losses) have gotten in each year. The ties in losses were the only controversy. So if you are Power 5 and go undefeated you get in.

Getting smoked at LSU wins out over winning all of your games on the field? How? If UGA only had the loss to us in the championship, I can give legitimacy to that claim, but losing by three touchdowns to LSU takes away some credibility, at least to me.

Re: ESPN Is Reporting...

In the end all the teeth gnashing about the Committee making a political decision is really mute. Nobody is going to beat Bama this year. The Tide are on another level than the rest of the field.

I hope you are correct. We are getting sloppy right now, so I am still a little uptight. I do hope your dawgs whip Texas, though.

Re: ESPN Is Reporting...

Whoever is the governing body of the CFB Playoff Committee needs to have a sit down with the committee members and develop a definitive process to do a better job in selecting the teams. As someone mentioned in another post there is always one team that should not be in the final 4 teams. FSU in year one, MSU in year two, Washington in year 3 and last year Clemson. Notre Dame and BYU need to be put on notice that if they don't affiliate with a conference they cannot participate in the Playoff.

I believe anybody would agree that either UGA or tOSU would have been much stronger opponents than ND. I understand they both had an ugly regular season loss, but that aside, the committee should have been able to see that they were both better than ND. IMO this is the very type situation I was afraid of with having human decision making. If something is not done to change this then the 8 team playoff will happen and happen soon.
